At the beginning of the quarter, students collaborate with one another in selecting the design they would bring to life. Their choices would then be pending for approval by the Koto Group. Finally, after various changes and waiting, the students would finally begin the sketch.

Every Saturday morning following the finalization of the design, students headed towards the official mural site to sketch the design on the wall. From this process, they will then be ready to paint the mural.

As the each Saturday passes on, the mural begins to look more and more lively with each color that is painted on its patterns. The more paint they place on the walls, the stronger the bond is among the class.

The final product made the streets of Isla Vista a little brighter, and the students of the Urban Art Workshop course a little closer. Now that their time was up with the mural, it was time to impact the world in other ways.
